The Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport is a 700 hp racing variant of the 911 GT2 RS, the automaker says. It has a 3.8-liter flat-six twin-turbocharged engine with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. It starts at $478,000, not including shipping, and is limited to a production run of 200 units.

Nissan is giving the Murano a nip and tuck for the 2019 model year. The 2019 Murano comes in four trims, but the range-topping Platinum receives interior appointments that look similar to those of the Infiniti QX50. Outside, the Murano receives a revised V-motion grille and redesigned, crisper LED front and rear lights, as well as LED fog lights.

The redesigned 2020 Porsche 911 retains the automaker's venerable styling DNA but receives upgrades in horsepower, a new interior layout inspired by 1970s models, and 21st century driving conveniences. The turbocharged, flat-six engine on the next-generation 911 Carrera S and 911 Carrera 4S produces 443 hp. That's an increase of 23 hp compared with the outgoing model. The 2020 911 Carrera S starts at $114,250, while the Carrera 4S starts at $121,650. Both prices include shipping. The models are expected to arrive at U.S. dealerships in the summer.

The 2020 Kia Soul receives a new platform, sleeker headlights and a more sculpted body. The GT-Line, a new trim, has a sporty front and rear fascia along with unique side sills and integrated fog lights on front grille. The front fascia also gets red accents. A 201-hp turbocharged engine is available for the GT-Line.

Kia is expanding the Niro lineup with a battery electric version of the subcompact crossover that can drive 239 miles on a single charge. The Niro EV is slated to arrive in the first quarter of 2019 as a 2019 model and will join the regular gasoline and hybrid versions. Kia plans to initially offer the Niro EV in the 12 states that follow California's emissions standards.

Hyundai's biggest utility to date, the 2020 Palisade is longer, wider and taller than the outgoing Santa Fe XL. And Hyundai has a clear hit list that includes the Toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot, Ford Explorer, Volkswagen Atlas and Mazda CX-9. The three-row Palisade, which rides on a new chassis, goes on sale next summer and will be produced in Ulsan, Korea.

The 2019 Nissan Maxima has gone under the knife for a freshening, albeit minor. Debuting at the Los Angeles Auto Show, Nissan's flagship sedan is updated with a spruced up V-Motion front grille, new LED headlights, redesigned rear lights and a new rear fascia with quad-tip exhaust finishers. The interior receives more premium touches on the SR trim and a new Platinum Reserve package. The Platinum Reserve package offers tan leather appointments, which Nissan says mirrors the GT-R supercar. The package also comes with quilted textures on the seats. Power still is supplied by a 3.5-liter V-6 engine with 300 hp. Nissan also is making its Safety Shield 360 package available on the large sedan for the 2019 model year.
